In the summer of 1998 I began doing freelance work in both print design and web design, with a special focus on graphics and imaging for small business Internet and intranet sites. I still enjoy doing freelance work to this day, and regularly work on projects as varied as designing direct mail flyers and brochures to developing large websites. Although I do generally prefer the stability and depth of ownership one enjoys working within an established corporate infrastructure, freelancing has been a great way to challenge my skills and a chance to work on a fascinating array of different projects. My highest profile ongoing website, Connecticut Parent Magazine, can be viewed at www.ctparent.com.
